Marshall B. Paul, a partner in the Health Law Practice Group and a member of the Maryland State Bar Association's (MSBA) Board of Governors, was quoted in this article about the MSBA's decision to assume the educational mission formerly handled by the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers Inc. (MICPEL).

MSBA took over MICPEL's publishing and programming offerings in early March after MICPEL ceased operating after 34 years.

"MSBA has a mission to provide that to its members," said Paul, who is leading MSBA's efforts to absorb MICPEL. "We think we're going to be able to reach lawyers all over the state. People from Garrett County aren't going to have to travel to Baltimore City or Montgomery County. We're going to be out there making quality legal education available to everyone in Maryland."
