May 4, 2005

The opening of the Newark, N.J. office of Saul Ewing, along with the expansion of the Utility Practice Group, was mentioned in The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel.

Partner Stephen B. Genzer, along with Special Counsel Colleen A. Foley are the legal team for the new office. These seasoned lawyers bring with them a solid client base from the fields of electricity, gas, and telecommunications, as well as major water and sewer companies.

"Expansion and growth are part of our strategic plan. Expanding into Newark and adding to our utilities practice advances our strategic plan to become the predominant regional law firm," said Stephen S. Aichele, the Firm's Managing Partner. "With a critical mass of 10 utility attorneys firm-wide, we now have the depth and breadth of experience, and the broad range of service offerings, that national utilities entities demand."
