News Journal quotes Forsten on school referendum
Richard Forsten, a partner in Saul Ewing’s Real Estate Practice, comments on the vote to approve a $268 million capital referendum for the Appoquinimink School District in this article in The News Journal. According to the article, the money means that three new schools, as well as existing schools in the district, will be able to upgrade their facilities and continue to grow.
"The district put a lot of time and thought into the planning that went into this, and the voters responded," Richard, who is president of the district’s school board, said in the article. "We work awfully hard as a school board and care very much about education in this district. Education is one, if not the most important, thing government can do, and we want to continue to be a good school district."
