"Women Add a Feminine Flair to Making Connections", The Philadelphia Inquirer

Robyn F. Pollack, an Associate in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Department in the Philadelphia office, was featured in this Philadelphia Inquirer article about how women network to make it in the business world.

In June, the Networking Organization for Women, a networking group founded by Ms. Pollack, hosted a spa-day event at the Turnaround Management Association's Mid-Atlantic conference in Atlantic City, NJ. The event attracted the majority of women attending the conference.

"Women are coming up into positions of power in business," Ms. Pollack said. "We don't feel we have to play on the men's terms."

"I felt very uncomfortable," she said in regard to the male-dominated events. "These huge portraits of men staring down at you. I came back to my colleagues who had encouraged me to go and said, 'I don't know how I'm going to get business. They're going to give it to their 50-year-old bald colleagues.'"
