Pollution Plagues Ethanol Plants

This article addresses an agreement between the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and ethanol plants requiring plants to pay for pollution controls or pay fines. Saul Ewing Partner Joel R. Burcat, a member of the Environment, Energy and Utilities Department, said in this article that the agreement will make the rest of the industry take notice. One of the affected ethanol plants intends to open a plant in the Central Pennsylvania area.
