Arnstein & Lehr LLP Chicago Partner Raymond M. Krauze contributed an article entitled “Just because it says so, doesn’t make it so” to the Illinois State Bar Association’s Section newsletter on construction law, Building Knowledge. In the article, Mr. Krauze revisits a case that addresses whether a general contractor, under the facts of the case, was additionally insured under a commercial general liability (CGL) policy where the general contractor was not in contractual privity with the named insured. Mr. Krauze provides advice on how general contractors can protect themselves. Chicago Partner Samuel Levine is the editor of the newsletter.
