​Josh Richards, a partner and vice chair of the firm’s Higher Education Practice, is quoted in this article regarding the Department of Education's announcement that it is rescinding Title IX guidance on sexual misconduct issued under President Barack Obama's administration. In response to the proposed changes, the article explains that lawyers and universities are reevaluating their practices.

In the article, Josh notes that what institutions want from regulators is consistency. "They didn't get that under Obama," Josh said. "Unfortunately, what we're not getting with the new administration is consistency."
