A new bill in the U.S. Senate would hold college leaders accountable for sexual misconduct by employees

Josh Richards, Vice Chair of the Firm’s Higher Education Practice, is quoted in this article. The U.S. Senate recently introduced a bill that requires at least one university official to annually review all cases of sexual abuse. While Josh supports the intent, he advises that there is opportunity for a more efficient method.

"Regulators would be better served continuing to focus on the experts who work in the trenches on these issues every day,” said Josh.
