Rodeph Shalom, the oldest Ashkenazi congregation in North America, long ago made a commitment to remain in Philadelphia, and now is expanding its synagogue to meet the needs of the 21st century.  Saul Ewing partner Fred Strober, former President of the congregation and attorney for the expansion project, discussed with The Philadelphia Inquirer the goals for the expansion, including access for the disabled, more entrances and better flow.
