Angela de Cespedes Brings Vast Trial & Dispute Resolution Experience to Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Litigation Practice
In joining Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Miami office, Angela de Cespedes brings a depth of experience as lead trial counsel for companies involved in domestic and international disputes. She joins the firm as a partner in the Litigation Practice as well as several industry groups, including Sports & Entertainment, Hospitality, Products Liability and Technology.
Ms. de Cespedes focuses in particular on disputes involving threatened or active complex tort and commercial litigation in state and federal courts, arbitration and before administrative agencies. In addition to representing professional sports leagues, teams, stadiums, arenas, commercial property and hotel owners, developers and operators, Ms. de Cespedes advises clients in an array of other industries including technology, virtual currency and social media.

Ms. de Cespedes' capabilities include advising clients facing a potential or actual crisis in order to minimize the risk of litigation, and providing crisis management and counsel regarding the collection and preservation of evidence in order to avoid or minimize the impact of litigation and possible exposure. Her strategic approach to reducing litigation risks and dispute resolution also includes liaising with government agencies and third parties on behalf of clients.

Her contributions also include having previously secured an award to represent the City of Miami as its outside counsel in connection with the development of Freedom Park, a soccer stadium and mixed-use project, which is slated to be the future home of David Beckham’s Major League Soccer (MLS) team, Inter Miami CF.

Ms. de Cespedes earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, her B.A. from University of Miami, and is admitted to practice in both Florida and New York.
