Arnstein & Lehr LLP Welcomes Prominent Attorney and Lobbyist Neil Schiller to the West Palm Beach Office
The national law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP welcomes Neil M. Schiller to its West Palm Beach office as a partner in the Municipal & Governmental practice group.
“We are excited to welcome Neil to the firm,” said Steven Daniels, Managing Partner of the firm’s West Palm Beach and Boca Raton offices. “Neil’s relationships, stature in the community and understanding of the decision-making process of governmental entities will be an asset to our clients.”
Mr. Schiller’s practice will concentrate on land use and development law, government contracts, and local, state and federal lobbying.
Over the years, Mr. Schiller has represented a wide variety of clients on a wide variety of issues. Some of his large clients include Oracle Computers, GL Homes, Toll Brothers, and Yellow Cab. Among his smaller clients are Westway Towing and Mizner Country Club. Mr. Schiller was named to the “40 under 40” list from the South Florida Business Journal in 2015 and regularly appears in local media, identified as a “super lobbyist,” commenting on the political issues of the day and not wearing socks.
“With Neil on board, it will supplement our Municipal and Governmental practice group and enable the firm to provide superior services to clients in Palm Beach County, complementing the expertise of Keith Poliakoff in Broward County and Miguel Diaz de la Portilla in Miami-Dade County,” said Jeffrey Shapiro, Arnstein & Lehr’s Chairman and Managing Partner of the Miami office.
In addition to representing his clients before various governmental jurisdictions, Mr. Schiller is active in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Homeless Coalition and is a co-chair of the annual Palm Beach County Mayor’s Ball that raises more than $300,000 to end homelessness. Mr. Schiller is also on the executive committee of ESPN’s nationally televised Boca Raton Bowl. He also serves on the Board of Directors of JARC (Jewish Association of Residential Care) and is the treasurer of his homeowner’s association.
Mr. Schiller has a vast working knowledge of Florida’s local, regional and state political landscape. He has run many successful political campaigns in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie counties. Before practicing law, Mr. Schiller ran his own political consulting and lobbying practice where he worked with a wide variety of candidates that are in office today.
