Experienced Patent Attorney Alireza Behrooz Joins Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Intellectual Property Team

In joining Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s Washington, D.C. office, Alireza Behrooz brings to the firm more than 15 years of experience helping clients protect intellectual property connected to their inventions in the life science, biologics/pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. He joins the firm as counsel in the Intellectual Property Practice.

A patent attorney with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Microbiology from Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Behrooz prepares, obtains and secures patents as well as provides opinions and due diligence analysis. He also represents clients in challenges to patent validity and inter partes reviews before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board.

Dr. Behrooz earned his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center. In addition to his Ph.D., he also has an M.S. in Biology from Long Island University and a B.S. in Mathematics Applied Sciences from UCLA.
