Eight Attorneys Named to The Maryland Rising Stars List

Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 270 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, announced today that 15 attorneys have been named to the Maryland Super Lawyers list for 2016; eight Saul Ewing attorneys were named Maryland Rising Stars.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process  that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers Magazines and in leading city and regional magazines and newspapers across the country. Super Lawyers Magazines also feature editorial profiles of attorneys who embody excellence in the practice of law.

Cooperman and Gary B. Eidelman were named for Employment and Labor; Maria Ellena Chavez-Ruark and Joyce A. Kuhns were listed for Bankruptcy; Marshall B. Paul was named for Business/Corporate; Eileen D. O’Brien and Sheldon S. Satisky were named Super Lawyers for Estate & Probate; Sherry H. Flax was named for Intellectual Property; Laura L. Katz was named for Health Care, and Harry D. Shapiro was named for Tax law.

Eight attorneys were named “Rising Stars” for 2016. Indira K. Sharma was named Rising Star for her work in Business Litigation; Kathryn L. Hickey was named for Business/Corporate Law; Jacqueline A.
