Christopher R. Hall, a partner and chair of the firm’s White Collar and Government Enforcement Practice, is quoted in this story about the how Philadelphia-based law firms are handling more white collar defense work as the federal government steps up enforcement of laws relating to corporate misconduct.

Chris, who is a former assistant U.S. attorney, explains that matters arising from government investigations relating to health care issues and whistleblower claims are among the activities that are keeping the practice very busy this year.

“I think it is partly a hangover from the collapse of the markets in 2008,” Chris said in the story. “The U.S. attorneys’ offices are still keenly aware that the public feels aggrieved … and wants accountability.”
