Jacqueline A. Brooks Selected as Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr’s 2018 Fellow for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity
Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP, a full service law firm with more than 400 lawyers in 15 offices, today announced that Jacqueline A. Brooks, a partner in the firm’s Business and Finance Practice, has been selected by the firm as the 2018 Fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 285 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Fellows Program, which has trained more than a thousand mid-career attorneys since 2011, is one of LCLD’s most important initiatives.
Jacque, who is resident in the firm’s Baltimore Office, concentrates her practice in general business and commercial law. She counsels clients in mergers and acquisitions, purchases and sales of businesses, commercial finance, private offerings of debt and equity securities, and life science transactions, and shareholder derivative matters, including shareholder demand responses and special committee issues. Jacqueline has experience representing public companies, privately owned and managed companies, nonprofit organizations and start-up companies and provides general counsel to these organizations regarding corporate matters.
Jacque has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Maryland Super Lawyers since 2013 and by The Daily Record with her placement on the “Leading Women in Maryland” list in 2013 and as a Very Important Professional - Successful by 40 award recipient in 2015.
