Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr Further Strengthens its White Collar and Government Litigation Practice With Addition of Jennifer L. Beidel

(Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - 2019-02-04)

Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr LLP today announced that Jennifer L. Beidel has returned to the firm as a partner in the White Collar and Government Litigation Practice following a four-year stint in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York. Ms. Beidel is resident again in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office.

Ms. Beidel is a trial lawyer and former federal prosecutor who represents organizations and individuals in white collar criminal defense cases, internal investigations, corporate compliance matters, and complex commercial disputes. She draws on her extensive trial and investigative experience – in both the private and public sectors – to assist clients facing criminal and civil allegations of fraud and other misconduct in the health care, life sciences, food and agriculture, and financial services industries, among others.

Ms. Beidel will also draw on the experience she gained as an assistant U.S. attorney in the Complex Frauds and Cybercrime Unit to handle work within the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice. During her years as a prosecutor, she led investigations and prosecutions in a variety of areas, including tax fraud, health care fraud, cybercrime, bank and wire fraud, securities fraud, consumer fraud, and money laundering.  She also worked closely with numerous federal agencies and the governments of various foreign partners.

"Jennifer began her legal career at Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr and quickly developed into a go-to attorney on some of the firm’s most significant litigation matters," said Jason M. St. John, chair of the firm’s Litigation Practice. "When offered the opportunity to join the prestigious U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York, she decided to take a pause from private practice. She returns to us with enhanced courtroom experience and useful insight on how the government builds the types of cases our clients face."

Ms. Beidel earned her J.D. from Penn State The Dickinson School of Law. She also has a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University.
