Saul Ewing Associate Jacqueline A. Brooks named to The Daily Record’s Successful by 40 2015 VIP List
Jacqueline A. Brooks, an associate in Saul Ewing’s Business and Finance Practice, has been named to The Daily Record’s Successful by 40 VIP List – Very Important Professionals Successful by 40 awards.
The Daily Record created the VIP List in 2011 to recognize professionals 40 years of age and younger who have been successful in Maryland. This year’s 42 winners were selected on the basis of professional accomplishments and commitment to inspiring change in their community.
Brooks, who is resident in Saul Ewing’s Baltimore office, concentrates her legal practice in general business and commercial law. Her work includes counseling clients in mergers and acquisitions, purchases and sales of businesses, commercial finance, private offerings of debt and equity securities, and life science transactions. She is a graduate of Washington University School of Law and Georgia Southern University.
“The VIP List honorees are the ones to watch. They are young leaders making a strong impact on their communities through their careers and volunteer activities,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, publisher of The Daily Record. “They value their professional accomplishments but commit time and resources to civic involvement and making a significant, positive impact on Maryland. The Daily Record is pleased to honor them.”
Brooks is the corporate secretary and a board member for the Homeless Persons Representation Project, Inc. The Maryland State Bar Association recognized her in 2011 with its Alex Fee Memorial Pro Bono Service Award.
Brooks and the other winners will be honored at a reception on Aug. 19, 2015 and be profiled in a special issue of The Daily Record on August 21, 2015.
