Saul Ewing LLP Partner Named to Division Director Post in ABA Section of Litigation
Saul Ewing LLP, a full service law firm with more than 260 lawyers in 11 East Coast offices, is proud to announce that Cathleen M. Devlin, a Philadelphia-based partner and Vice Chair of the Litigation Department, has been appointed as a Division VI Director within the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation.
In this role, Ms. Devlin will oversee and facilitate the activities of nine Section Committees focused on various legal profession constituencies, ranging from Corporate Counsel and Solo & Small Firm Practice to Minority Trial Lawyers and Young Advocates. The term will start at the beginning of the new ABA Litigation Section bar year on September 1, 2014 and go through August 31, 2015.
Ms. Devlin’s appointment as a Division VI Director follows her three-year service as a Co-Chair of the Section’s Corporate Counsel Committee.
In her law practice, Ms. Devlin is a business and environmental litigator with extensive federal and state court trial and appellate experience. She also focuses her practice on large-scale investigation matters in response to government compliance reviews and other inquiries.
Ms. Devlin earned her undergraduate degree in Behavioral Science, summa cum laude, from Drew University and her law degree, cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and serves as an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy at Villanova Law.
