Thomas Conley Takes Office As President of Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys
Arnstein & Lehr Partner to Lead Organization Through “Momentous” Year
The national law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP congratulates Thomas P. Conley on his election as the president of the Illinois Association of Healthcare Attorneys.
Conley is a partner in the firm’s Chicago office and chairs its Health Law Group. He concentrates his practice in transactional health care law and regulatory compliance matters. In addition to his service with IAHA, he is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, having previously chaired its Health Care Section Council.
IAHA is an 850-member organization dedicated to serving the needs of attorneys representing the health care industry, from hospitals and physicians to medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Its members represent most of the health care bar in Illinois, coming from firms and in-house settings to meet regularly to educate themselves on Illinois health law developments and exchange ideas and best practices.
“I’m excited to take on this challenge,” Conley said, “and to work with such an outstanding group of people. 2015 is a momentous year in health care law, as institutions and practitioners face continued changes in regulations and the marketplace. IAHA members are at the forefront of managing through these changes, serving clients’ legal needs, answering their questions and offering them strategic counsel so that they can focus on what they do best: delivering care.”
