Jeremy Heinnickel, a member of the Insurance practice, authored this article discussing the NAIC’s recent adoption of the Corporate Governance Annual Disclosure Model Act and corresponding Model Regulations.  These changes apply to all insurers, regardless of size, and require that they provide information to state insurance regulators on the corporate governance structure, policies and practices of an insurer or insurer group.
