Brandenburg, a partner in the Business and Finance Practice, wrote this article that explains the changes that employers must make to comply with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act following the June 2012 Supreme Court decision upholding the law.

Changes include: setting up procedures to handle rebates for excess administrative spending by insurers; distributing summaries of benefits and coverage to plan participants and their beneficiaries; issuing notices of state health care exchanges; modifying payroll systems to account for health insurance-related tax adjustments; and many others.
