Louis is published in The Legal Intelligencer
Robert H. Louis, co-chair of the Personal Wealth, Estates and Trusts Practice, wrote this article that covers multiple factors to consider and educate oneself on prior to retiring. They include: Social Security, Medicare/health insurance, retirement plans, whether one should contribute to a Roth IRA or Roth 401(k), estate planning, and income and expenses in retirement.
Mr. Louis also noted that during a recent retirement program for attorneys, the most important task in preparing for retirement is deciding what to do with your time. In conclusion, he advises, “Do all of these things (listed above), and then find something productive and satisfying to do during the retirement years.”
