This article, written by Pamela S. Goodwin and Jane Kozinski, partner and special counsel, respectively, in the Environment and Natural Resources Practice Group, examines how trends in sustainability and alternative energy are driving reuse of solid waste.

In addition, businesses are in search of mechanisms to meet corporate sustainability and waste minimization goals. Against this backdrop, materials once considered “waste” are finding new uses.
