Ruth Rauls, a partner in the Firm's Cannabis Law Practice, authored this article for the NJSBA Cannabis Law Committee Newsletter. Ruth discusses the potential law changes in relation to employee medical marijuana use.

"The current medical expansion bill advanced by the New Jersey Legislature on Nov. 26, 2018, the Jake Honig Compassionate Use Medical Cannabis Act (S-10 and -2425), would change the language relied on by the district court. Accordingly, if passed, a New Jersey employer’s obligations regarding employee medical marijuana cardholders would be provided with greater employee protections," wrote Ruth.
