Saul Ewing is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to sit in its Princeton office. The Litigation Paralegal assists attorneys with case planning, development, and management, legal research, interviews clients, gathers facts and retrieves information, drafts and analyzes legal documents and collects, compiles and utilizes technical information, to make recommendations to the attorney.

Education & Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience within a litigation department of a law firm close to Saul Ewing’s size
  • Paralegal certificate is preferred
  • Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is a plus

Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and other related matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Additional Information
  • Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the following during the work day:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (working at a computer)
  • Repetitive movement (i.e. heavy computer/keyboard use).
  • Individual will interact regularly with others verbally, in-person, and via written communication.
  • May require occasional light lifting (files, copy paper, etc.).
  • Individual in this position will provide additional assistance and support as directed by their supervisor.
  • Job may require occasional travel for trial

Compensation

The pay for this position will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, education, external market data, internal equity, and other job-related factors. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $100,000 - $112,000 annually.

Saul Ewing follows a hybrid work schedule. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of our office locations.
