This panel will explore the recent trend by some companies to leave Delaware as their State of Incorporation (highlighted by Elon Musk’s very public move of Tesla from DE to TX). The panel will examine the public perception and compare that to the reality. It will examine the corporation laws of the various states often cited as the most likely destinations and will provide an in-depth comparison of the corporation laws of Delaware, Maryland, Texas and Nevada.
