(PHILADELPHIA) January 12, 2026 - Saul Ewing LLP announced today that it has elected partners Rick Carroll in Washington, DC, and Anthony Kang in Miami, Florida, to the Firm’s nine-member Executive Committee. Both Mr. Carroll and Mr. Kang will serve five-year terms.
Mr. Carroll’s practice focuses on providing legal opinions on corporate and alternative entity matters. In addition, he advises domestic companies and international clients with business interests in the United States on a variety of corporate transactions and governance matters. Mr. Carroll currently serves as Chair of the firm’s Corporate Practice and as a member of the Benefits Committee.
Mr. Kang’s practice focuses on financing, real estate, and corporate transactions. As counsel to his clients in different sectors, Mr. Kang leads teams to serve the Firm’s clients in real estate development, financing, investment, and general business matters. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, he also routinely advises international clients regarding transacting business and investing in the United States. Mr. Kang currently serves as Vice Chair of the firm’s Transactional Department and Vice Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice.

Mr. Carroll earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School, his M.B.A. from the University of Oxford, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. Mr. Kang earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Duke University.
