BOSTON (APRIL 3, 2025) – Saul Ewing is welcoming a new Chief Information Officer to the firm, Eric J. Haas, who will serve as a key strategic advisor to the managing partner, executive partner, the Executive Committee and other firm leaders regarding the firm’s technology. He is resident in Saul Ewing’s Boston office.
As CIO, Mr. Haas will be responsible for guiding the adoption, overseeing the operation, and ensuring the security of technology at Saul Ewing, so both the firm’s attorneys and business professionals have the technological tools and resources they need to provide exceptional legal services.
Mr. Haas brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise strategy, IT, finance, and operations for law firms and corporate clients to his role. His experience includes spearheading firmwide initiatives such as a recent transition to a cloud-based document management system (DMS) and two major operating system upgrades. He has also rolled out cross-departmental improvements, upgraded and installed new A/V systems globally and led massive process improvement initiatives. Additionally, he has managed multiple departments including Information Technology and Security, Litigation Support, Knowledge Management, New Business Intake and Conflicts, Records, Project Management, and Docketing.

Mr. Haas earned his B.A. in Communications from Virginia Wesleyan University. He also has an A.S. in Film and Video from Full Sail University.
