Nathan Henderson recently received the Pro Bono Luminary Award from the Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation in recognition of his work using a new Illinois law that allows survivors of “deep fakes” to sue their abusers. With support from CAASE attorneys, Nathan led one of the first lawsuits filed under this law on behalf of an incredibly brave survivor. He negotiated a settlement that went beyond a legal remedy while charting a path for other attorneys to follow.
