CHICAGO, (JUNE 12, 2025) – Jeff Ramirez, an experienced trusts and estates attorney, has joined Saul Ewing, where he will focus on estate planning and administration, probate and trust litigation, and guardianship matters for disabled adults and minors. Jeff will be a partner in the firm’s Chicago office.

Jeff’s passion for trusts and estates law developed from his previous work in Family Wealth Management at a global investment bank, where he collaborated with relationship managers and estate planners to implement investment portfolios and structure estate plans aligned with the financial goals of clients while minimizing tax consequences.
Jeff’s estate planning experience includes drafting a wide range of estate planning documents, such as pour-over wills, revocable trusts, and powers of attorney for property and health care. On the estate and trust administration side of his practice, he assists clients with opening probate estates to marshal assets and enforce estate planning documents, and he advises them on their roles and responsibilities in estate/trust administration. His estate litigation experience includes proof of will contests, breach of fiduciary claims, demands for accounting, and citations to discover and recover assets. In his guardianship work, Jeff advises guardians of their fiduciary roles and responsibilities, and he provides counseling on ways to mitigate and avoid guardianship, if possible.
Mr. Ramirez earned a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. He also has a B.A. from DePaul University.
