New York, (June 25, 2026) – Saul Ewing LLP has expanded its Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group in its New York Office with the hiring of Partner Scott Fleischer, who has a national practice representing owners and developers of shopping centers and malls when their tenants file Chapter 11 cases or default on their leases.

Mr. Fleischer’s experience on behalf of multi-landlord groups in retail and restaurant cases includes lease obligations, proposed lease assignments, cure disputes, sale processes, plans, claims and Subchapter V issues. He also advises landlords pre-bankruptcy on strategy and enforcement, including lease amendments, termination agreements, and acquisition/disposition strategies.

In addition to his primary practice, Mr. Fleischer has experience representing debtors, creditors’ committees, Chapter 7 trustees, and other parties in bankruptcy cases.
Mr. Fleischer has a J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a B.A. from Syracuse University.
