Geoffrey Langan advises clients on complex commercial real estate leasing and transactions and related litigation. His deep knowledge of the commercial real estate market is informed by his past work for more than a decade as in-house real estate counsel for the largest privately owned shopping center developer in the northeastern United States.
With a particular focus on commercial leasing, Geoff represents commercial landlords and tenants on leasing matters for office, retail and restaurant, as well as industrial, medical and warehouse. Additionally, Geoff counsels professionals, entrepreneurs, and middle-market firms in individual leases, subleases, license agreements, purchase and sale agreements, easements and construction contracts.
Leveraging his background as an in-house attorney, Geoff understands the legal risks clients face and the need to balance those risks with their business interests. This insight come from his prior work managing litigation counsel in property matters, including cases involving premises liability insurance defense and landlord-tenant disputes.
