- Review conflict reports prepared in connection with the business intake process. Identify potential legal and business conflicts of interest issues, and provide detailed analysis and advice directly to partners, and collaborate with members of the firm to resolve conflict issues.
- Draft conflict waivers and facilitate requests.
- Review conflict reports prepared in connection with the new hire process; provide detailed analysis and advice directly to the lateral recruiting team and firm partners as well as advising new hires on conflict issues.
- Implement and maintain ethical walls and other legal screens.
- Provide guidance to team of non-lawyer specialists in support of the business intake process, including best practices on corporate family research, and other aspects of the preparation of conflict check reports.
- Assist in drafting standard engagement letters and editing letters drafted by others.
- Answer queries from attorneys and professional staff across the firm, concerning business intake policies and procedures, conflicts of interest, and other firm policies.
- Work on ad hoc projects that arise from time to time.
- Be available for urgent matters, including evenings and weekends.
- Juris Doctorate degree and active member of the Bar in good standing
- 1-6 years’ experience working in a corporate law firm as a conflicts attorney
- Experience working with Intapp platform preferred
- Experience working in Aderant is a plus
- Database searching experiencing and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word);
- Close attention to detail, fast thinker and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines; and
- Requires ability to oversee and supervise staff members, as needed by the Department.

The pay for this position will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, education, external market data, internal equity, and other job-related factors. The anticipated range for this role is $120k to $150k.
