David Shapiro will be speaking at the upcoming ABA Section of Taxation on May 9, 2025, in Washington, DC.
David will moderate a panel in the session entitled Possible Crypto Tax Legislation in 2025. 2025 is the year for tax legislation. This panel will discuss various legislative crypto tax proposals that have been introduced as well as the recently enacted Congressional Review Act resolution reversing the DeFi broker regulations. The panel will also look at real world examples of the issues that need to be resolved through legislation.
