BOSTON, (APRIL 30, 2024) – Donald Lussier, a real estate attorney with three decades of experience representing clients in real estate, corporate and commercial lending transactions, has returned to Saul Ewing LLP following a stint at another firm. He is resident in the firm’s Boston office.
Mr. Lussier represents sponsors, investors and lenders in acquisitions, leasing matters, financings and dispositions, and provides advice on operational issues. He has experience with transactions involving multifamily complexes, office buildings and parks, industrial buildings, medical and life science properties, shopping centers, self-storage facilities, and hospitality properties, among other asset types. Mr. Lussier also negotiates venture agreements between sponsors and private equity real estate investors and conducts private placements in connection with capital raising initiatives, primarily related to real estate acquisitions.
His work in real estate financing includes representation of both lenders and borrowers. He provides advice on bridge and permanent mortgage loans, construction loans, mezzanine financings and unsecured lines of credit. Mr. Lussier is also experienced in handling loan participations and syndications and has guided both lenders and borrowers through workouts and debt restructuring arrangements.

Mr. Lussier earned his J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He also has a B.A. from Boston University.
