Pamela J. Scott Named Chairperson to New Castle County Executive-Elect Transition Team

Wilmington (November 25, 2024) - Saul Ewing LLP announced today that Pamela J. Scott, partner in the Wilmington office, has been named a Chairperson to New Castle County Executive-Elect Marcus Henry’s Transition Team. 

These leaders will oversee five dedicated Working Groups composed of subject matter experts who will review policies, procedures, and workflows in key policy areas. The five Working Groups are Public Safety, Economic Development, Land Use, Housing, and Youth Programs & Services. The observations from these groups will be presented to the County Executive to advise strategic initiatives and ensure policy implementation aligns with the administration’s goals and objectives.

Pamela has more than 35 years of experience as an attorney representing clients in real estate transactions and complex land use projects.  She assists commercial, industrial, and institutional clients navigate land use and zoning issues for real estate projects. She also combines her knowledge of the energy industry, land use, and zoning law to advise developers and landowners on renewable energy projects ranging in size from utility-scale solar facilities to rooftop facilities.
