Saul Ewing Adds Mary Beth Schluckebier McGovern as Pro Bono Manager

PHILADELPHIA (June 24, 2024) – Saul Ewing LLP announced that it has rehired Mary Beth Schluckebier McGovern, previously an associate at the firm, as its Pro Bono Manager. The Pro Bono Manager will work with the firm’s Pro Bono Committee to manage and refine our pro bono program, ensuring that our strategies for client service; diversity, equity and inclusion; professional development; and pro bono are aligned. Ms. Schluckebier McGovern will develop and oversee pro bono partnerships with clients and legal service providers, and organize pro bono trainings, legal clinics and events.

Ms. Schluckebier McGovern most recently served as a staff attorney at the Public Interest Law Center, where she utilized high-impact organizing, community education, and litigation strategies to combat discrimination, inequality and poverty and advance the civil and economic rights of low-income communities in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania. She also co-founded and developed a renters’ rights organization, Renters United Philadelphia, at the Law Center. Ms. Schluckebier McGovern holds a J.D. from Temple University and B.S. in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Scranton.
