Overview

Alicia Pitts is a member of the Litigation Department in the firm's Baltimore office. She maintains a general litigation practice and handles a variety of matters involving complex commercial disputes.

While earning her J.D. at University of Baltimore School of Law, Alicia was a summer associate at Saul Ewing. She was selected as the Maryland representative for a national Legal Education Police Practices Consortium during a fellowship with the American Bar Association. Her work for the consortium included research into police practices and policies within the Baltimore region and statewide agencies, and she was one of four fellows selected to present research findings at the Law of the Police Conference.

In addition, the National Capitol Region of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) selected Alicia, first, as a corporate scholar and, later, as a law clerk to work with a leading online wedding planning corporation. In these roles, her responsibilities included handling legal research, drafting training materials and standard “rules” forms, reviewing contracts, and helping the company monitor its legal compliance responsibilities. Alicia was also a law clerk in the Organized Crime Unit of the Maryland Attorney General’s Office.
