  • Prosecuting fraud claims against a creditor on behalf of a lending company in an arbitration hearing that resulted in a multi-million dollar verdict.

Cannabis Law

  • Secured an outcome in favor of an Illinois dispensary client in an Illinois “supercase” relating to the state’s handling and scoring of applications for adult use dispensary licenses, resulting in five licenses for the client.
  • Secured dismissal of multiple cannabis operators in a securities fraud lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, resulting in a public apology by the plaintiffs.
  • Secured a dismissal of a RICO complaint filed against the “Chicago cartel” on behalf of a multi-state operator.
  • Represented a multi-state operator in defense of a $100 million complaint in arbitration relating to allegations of breach of contract, resulting in a favorable settlement.
  • Currently representing a multi-state operator in ongoing securities fraud litigation.
