Overview

Elizabeth Bacon brings more than 30 years of litigation experience to her work for clients, including Fortune 500 corporations, private middle-market companies and not-for-profits. Her practice ranges from representing companies in commercial litigation involving breach of contract, fraud, and breach of fiduciary duty claims to defending them against consumer claims, including allegations of consumer fraud. She also advises clients on privacy and data protection matters as well as intellectual property and trade secret misappropriation issues.

Drawing on her experience in private practice with three international law firms, as well as working in-house at a Fortune 500 legal department, Elizabeth approaches each case with an early assessment of issues and identification of options that consider resources and time sensitivity. She then develops a strategy to align with each client’s unique business goals. When disputes cannot be resolved in the pre-litigation process, Elizabeth draws on her extensive experience to litigate cases in state or federal court, negotiate settlements, or guide clients through mediation or arbitration proceedings. Her experience includes representation of clients in class action suits, multi-district litigation, multi-jurisdictional consumer fraud claims, and national consumer recalls.
