Jessica Lenoir, Ph.D., helps clients protect their intellectual property by drafting patent applications and preparing office action responses to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and foreign offices. In handling this work, Jessica draws on her knowledge from earning a doctorate in interdisciplinary biological studies, with a focus on molecular biology, and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. Her patent experiences include work on applications for inventions involving the life sciences, therapeutics, drug discovery and organic chemistry. Jessica also analyzes scientific and technical documents and reviews invention disclosures for patentability, novelty and non-obviousness, and converts provisional applications into utility applications.
