Maja Ilic is a seasoned capital markets and corporate attorney who helps domestic and foreign issuers navigate public and private debt and equity securities offerings, including IPO and SPAC transactions. With extensive experience in both law firm and in-house roles, along with fluency in multiple languages and a rich educational background in Chinese history and culture, Maja frequently represents mid-size foreign issuers with operations in China, as well as investment banks.

Maja’s practice spans securities law compliance, SEC registration and reporting obligations, corporate governance, and exchange listing requirements. Clients rely on her for nuanced advice on SEC disclosure matters in navigating regulatory frameworks under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and for managing exchange listing requirements and related filings.

Additionally, Maja advises mid-size companies, start-ups, and sole proprietors on public and private equity issuances, M&A transactions and fund formation. She also prepares and oversees the preparation of a wide range of corporate documents and agreements, including share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, partnership agreements, limited liability company agreements, joint venture agreements, fund formation documents, SAFEs, convertible notes, and partnership and joint venture agreements.
