Patrick Tracey represents clients in the consumer financial services industry in litigation and regulatory matters. Drawing on 20 years of experience, Patrick also advises a wide array of corporate clients on complex commercial and business matters, with the goal of minimizing their legal risks. When a claim cannot be avoided, Patrick advocates for clients in court, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution forums.

Patrick's experience representing financial institutions includes mortgage-related litigation in cases under the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state consumer protection statutes.

Patrick's design of legal strategies for clients is shaped by his past experience as in-house counsel for a major bank, where he was senior vice president and director for litigation. This role involved managing matters ranging from class actions and investigations to FINRA and enforcement issues. His experience in this capacity also included managing legal teams, standardizing reporting to improve communications with the Board of Directors, government agencies and business partners, and refining case management protocols to control costs. 

In addition to his litigation work, Patrick provides advice and counsel to clients on cybersecurity issues. 

Patrick is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
