Overview

Susan Pew maintains a general litigation practice and handles a variety of matters involving complex commercial disputes and corporate litigation. Her practice includes an emphasis on representing general contractors, subcontractors, independent contractors/consultants, and suppliers in construction litigation involving public and private projects. Susan assists with a wide variety of matters, spanning from contractual disputes to mechanic's lien filings and foreclosure proceedings. She also has experience prosecuting, defending and navigating claims in both state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, and mediation. 

Susan’s litigation experience includes drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, participating in oral arguments and hearings, and overseeing pre-trial and post-trial materials and submissions. Susan is also proficient in reviewing and drafting construction contracts and related project documents as well as certification of M/W/DBE firms.
