Overview

Thomas Larounis is in the Litigation Department in the firm's New York office. He maintains a general litigation practice and handles a variety of matters involving complex commercial and insurance coverage disputes. His experience includes drafting and responding to complaints, discovery demands, pre-suit discovery, motions for summary judgment, and tackling projects at various other stages of litigation.

Prior to joining Saul Ewing, Thomas was an associate at an international law firm. Thomas earned his bachelor's degree in business economics with a concentration in international business economics, and his law degree from St. John's University School of Law.

While in law school, Thomas was a litigation law clerk in private practice, a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Lebovits in New York State Supreme Court and an intern for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in New York. During his third year of law school, Thomas spent his winter break working abroad in Warsaw, Poland.

In addition, Thomas was the executive director of the St. John's Moot Court Honor Society and a senior staff member for the New York International Law Review. While on Moot Court, Thomas earned awards in oral advocacy and brief-writing.
