Tom also has experience with matters involving post-grant prosecutions. His IP work for clients is informed by a strong scientific background that includes a doctorate in biophysics and a bachelor's degree in biology, with a concentration in molecular biology. His past patent work has focused on technologies including antibody-based therapeutics, immune cell-based therapeutics, taste receptors, electrophoretic separation devices for cell-free nucleic acid isolation, and polymer chemistry.
