Tricia Duffy is a litigator who handles high-stakes commercial matters and complex insurance coverage disputes in both state and federal courts. Her experience includes defending corporate clients in breach of contract matters, class actions, and trade secret disputes. Tricia also represents major insurers with matters involving general liability and environmental liability insurance policies, including PFAS-related claims and cases relating to historical contamination. She also served as local counsel in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania to several insurers.
Tricia defends the firm’s higher education clients in both general litigation ‒ including claims for negligence, breach of contract, and defamation ‒ as well as more campus-specific matters, such as Title IX, First Amendment issues relating to student speech and protests, and student and faculty misconduct.

Tricia is passionate about pro bono work and is committed to helping serve members of Philadelphia and surrounding communities. She has experience assisting pro bono clients in a variety of areas, including child custody, Federal Torts Claim Act, tangled title, delayed birth certificates, and guardianship. She also represented a pro bono client in a federal bench trial.
During law school, Tricia served as a Josiah Oliver L. Wolcott Fellow to the Honorable Karen L. Valihura of the Delaware Supreme Court.
