Overview

Anamika Moore is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on general commercial litigation. Her experience covers a wide range of matters, including real estate disputes, breach of contract and other business disputes and tort claims. Anamika also represents clients facing enforcement actions related to the Clean Water Act and other environmental laws brought by the state agencies including the Maryland Department of Environment. In addition, she conducts internal investigations for institutions of higher education related to claims of racial discrimination, sexual harassment, misconduct and assault. She also has experience representing clients facing government investigations. 

Anamika has an active pro bono practice representing survivors of intimate partner violence. She has also represented incarcerated individuals who were assaulted in prison in civil rights litigation against state corrections departments.

Anamika earned her J.D. in the evening division at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law while working full-time as a news reporter, a position she held for six years. As a journalist, her beats included legal affairs, business, municipal government and schools. While in law school, Anamika was a judicial intern for the Honorable Douglas R.M. Nazarian in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.
