Anne Greene advises clients on ERISA and employee benefits matters, including compliance with federal and state regulations such as the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), document drafting, and corrections programs. She also represents clients in disputes with the IRS and U.S. Department of Labor and in plan claims and appeals, and she provides due diligence and counseling in corporate transactions.
Anne has extensive experience with matters involving employer-sponsored retirement plans, such as fiduciary counseling defined benefit plan compliance and termination, and multiemployer plan withdrawal liability issues.
She also has experience advising on health and welfare plans and cafeteria plans. In addition, Anne’s compliance work with respect to health plans includes advising employers on their obligations under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as well as navigating related penalty assessments.
