Brian Willett is an experienced litigator who represents clients in complex commercial disputes, class actions and appeals in state and federal courts, with a particular focus on institutions of higher education. In addition to his case work, Brian provides legal counsel to colleges and universities with respect to compliance with state and federal regulations. Brian also handles matters involving student affairs, scholarship equity, and internal investigations and advocates for educational institutions facing government investigations.
Beyond his work in higher education, Brian has extensive experience representing financial institutions in various contexts, including embezzlement and regulatory investigations. He also assists clients with issues involving data privacy laws across various industries, such as HIPAA, FCRA, FACTA, and GLBA.
